This online calculator was created by Brian Herzog of the Chelmsford Public Library. It was adapted from the downloadable spreadsheet [xls] created by the Massachusetts Library Association Legislative Committee and posted by a member, Greg Pronevitz of Northeast Massachusetts Regional Library System.

Permission is granted to other libraries to adapt this calculator for use on their own website. Further information is available at swissarmylibrarian.net/librarycalculator.

Please note that this is only the calculator portion. The comments submission form is handled by a perl script that resides on the Chelmsford Library's webserver. To include a comments form on your own website, you will need to work with your website administrator to create such a script that can run on your server.
