From I-495 Southbound
  • Take Exit 34 to Route 110.
  • Go right at end of the exit.
  • Follow Route 110 (Chelmsford Street) to junction of routes 110, 129 and 4.
  • Go straight down into the heart of Chelmsford Center to the right of the Mobil gas station (do not take far right onto route 27).
  • The Library will be on your left. Continue to circle around building onto Boston Road; you will come to front of building and access to parking.

From I-495 Northbound
  • Take Exit 33 to Route 4.
  • Go right at the end of the exit, and follow Route 4 South into the Town Center.
  • At Chelmsford Center, go straight across the intersection, continuing on Route 4 South.
  • The library is on the same "island" between Route 4 South and Route 4 North that the Mobil station is on. Do not take the far right onto Route 27.
  • The Library will be on your left. Continue to circle around building onto Boston Road (Route 4 North). You will come to the front of the building access to parking.

From Route 3 Southbound (coming from New Hampshire)
  • Take Exit 32, and follow Route 4 South.
  • At Chelmsford Center, go straight across the intersection, continuing on Route 4 South.
  • The library is on the same "island" between Route 4 South and Route 4 North that the Mobil station is on. Do not take the far right onto Route 27.
  • The Library will be on your left. Continue to circle around building onto Boston Road (Route 4 North). You will come to the front of the building access to parking.

From Route 128 (coming from Boston)
  • Take Exit 32 (A or B) to Route 3 North.
  • From Route 3 North take Exit 29, for Route 129 (Billerica and Chelmsford exit).
  • At end of ramp turn right and stay on Route 129. You will pass several companies, nursing home, Harvard/Vanguard Health Center, cemetery and Town Offices).
  • In the Town Center, turn left at the traffic lights onto Route 4 South (junction of routes 129, 110 and 4).
  • Go straight down into the heart of Chelmsford Center to the right of the Mobil gas station (do not take far right onto route 27).
  • The Library will be on your left. Continue to circle around building onto Boston Road; you will come to front of building and access to parking.
