SUMMER READING KICKOFF CONCERT!

Join us June 30th, 2-3:30 PM at the MacKay Library
Yertle the Turtle + meet and greet real turtles.


Registration begins June 4th, 30 spots are available.
We will be reading and discussing Yertle the Turtle which will be followed by a visit from the Drumlin Farm's staff
and some turtles friends.
This program is geared for children entering K-2 grade.

The Lorax + Miniture recycled works of art
July 7, 2:00 PM- 3:00 PM

Registration begins Friday June 4th. We will be reading the Lorax and creating a miniture work of art using recycled materials. Children must be entering Kindergarten - Second Grade.

Sparrow Girl + Recycled materials bird house
July 14, 2:00 PM- 3:00 PM


We will read and discuss Sparrow Girl by Sara Pennypacker. Then we will create a bird house using recycled materials. Children should be entering Kindergarten through Second Grade.

July 28, 2:00 PM-3:30 PM

Please Register,limited to 30 kids. We will be discussing Hoot by Carl Hiaasen which will be follow by a program on Owls by Drumlin Farm's Audubon Staff.
Children must be entering 4-6 grade.

Where the Mountains Meets the Moon + Make your own dragon.
Wednesday August 4th, 2:00 p.m.

We will read portions of Where the Mountains Meets the Moon and create a dragon craft.
For children entering 3-6 grade.

Environmental Storytelling with Bonnie
Wednesday July 11 at 2 PM
Through some fun improve excercises we will learn an environmental that you will be able to take home and tell.
