Born and raised in Quebec, Canada, I reconnected with my artistic roots in 1997, and more seriously when I moved to the states in 2000. I studied drawing and acrylic painting for 4 years with Micheline Raymond, an artist for 40 years, and founder of the Creativ'Art Gallery and School in Montreal, Canada.

In the last three years, I have had the chance to study under Tom Gill, a very talented artist from Lowell, who uses characteristic brushstrokes and bright colors. Already a colorist myself, Tom showed me how to push each color further, adding more contrast and a deeper impact to the paintings. The Tom Gill influence shows in all of my paintings, not only through the colors, but also with a better sense of composition and harmony.

Living in Dracut, I have met a lot of wonderful artists by joining local art groups including: the Brush Art Gallery, the Whistler House Museum, the Chelmsford Art Society, and the Andover Artist Guild. I recently joined the board of the Chelmsford Art Society as membership chairperson.
With my artist friends, I have discovered the pleasure of painting “en plein air”, doing landscapes. On a nice summer day, I like to pack up my easel to go on location and paint a landscape study wit my friends. Sometimes, it gives the best results reflecting the spontaneity and atmosphere of the day.
If you want any of the paintings in this exhibit or would like to commission me for a painting, do not hesitate to contact me.
