2012 -- Jim O'Rourke

Artist's Statement
"My work is primarily land and seascape, still life and object painting
and drawing. My medias are oil, acrylic, watercolor, pencil, colored pencil
and pastel.
I like working from my photography, which I use as a reference library,
as well as on site and inner inspiration. I have only recently decided
to take my work out of the closet, (so to speak), and bring it to the
public eye. I also handcraft and paint walking sticks and paint on wooden
eggs and slate. I am currently painting or drawing almost every day and
even being nearly flat broke, I am having the most productive and fulfilling
time of my life which I would trade for nothing.
Check my web site often
to view new additions to my gallery as they are produced.
I work on commission but have a wide variety of finished work available.
Write to me with comments please!
Your feedback and interest in my work is very important to me."
