Bio
I first became interested in photography after graduating from high school
and joining the Navy to see the world. My interest continued through college
where I was the photo editor of the school newspaper. After college marriage
and a son caused photography to take the back burner.
Three or four years ago I picked up a small point and shoot digital camera,
and the passion was immediately back. In short order , I upgraded to a
digital SLR so I would have more freedom to control the photographic process.
Recently I purchased a medium format Mamiya RB-67 Pro film camera which
is bringing me back full circle.

Statement:
In this show I’ve tried to capture some of the beauty that can be
found in unexpected places. The images are from North Carolina, New Jersey,
Lawrence, Cape Cod, and my own backyard, which goes to show that beauty
is everywhere, even sometimes in our own backyards. It’s just a
question of being able to see and appreciate it.
