Trying to find the perfect volunteer opportunity?
Want to learn more about your community?
Potential volunteers, connect with nonprofits.
Organizations, tell your story and connect with potential volunteers and
future supporters
The Library is introducing a new monthly series,
Community Spotlight, to feature various community organizations
and non-profits that are looking for talented volunteers, new members
and/or community support.
This is a good opportunity to meet some of the
people who run the wonderful organizations that help to make Chelmsford
and the Merrimack Valley such a special place to live. Learn about possible
volunteer opportunities and ways to show your support to help these groups
continue the important work they do.
Format of the program:
The format will vary depending on the participating organizations. Each
group will have about 15 minutes to talk or to present a Power Point or
film about their organization. If time permits there will be Q&As
after each presentation. At the end of the program we will allow time
for audience members to mingle and meet individually with reps from the
groups.
Participating organizations are not allowed to solicit donations or sell
any goods or services. The program is intended to be for informational
or educational purposes. If you know of an organization that should be
featured in Community Spotlight please email Kathy at kcryanhic@mvlc.org
