Celebrate the Creative Spirit!
Imagination - The Sky is the Limit!!

Taking a cue from the theme for the 2003 Summer Reading Program, "Read, Think, Create" we thought it would be fun to hold a celebration of the Creative Spirit for the month of May 2003, to get us ready for the summer. Take a look at our Creativity Webliography of books and websites to inform and inspire, then join us for these programs:

What better symbol of the creative spirit than a kite?!

Kite-Building Workshops
We'll begin preparing for our celebration of the creative spirit with kite-making workshops presented by Glenn Davison, vice-president of Kites Over New England, from 7-9 p.m. on:
    Wednesday, April 30 and
    Thursday, May 1

Glenn has hung a kite exhibit in the main library which will be up through the month of April and May. (Did you know that April is Kite Month?).
