The Chelmsford Friends of the Library Annual Meeting and Special Program on Fenway Park

Join us to hear Dan Rea, Special Assistant to the President/CEO of the Boston Red Sox,  talk about the history of Fenway Park and his experience chronicling it in the coffee table book, "Fenway Park: 100 Years, the official, definitive history of Fenway Park."  Copies of this special book will be available after the program for purchase.

Dan Rea serves as Special Assistant to the President/CEO of the Boston Red Sox. In this role, he assists team President/CEO Larry Lucchino in nearly all aspects of his day-to-day responsibilities, in addition to executing various projects for the team.  A 2010 Harvard College graduate, Dan coordinated the 100th anniversary of Fenway Park in 2012, including the reunion of more than 200 Red Sox alumni for the ballpark’s 100th birthday on 4/20/2012.  Dan also served as co-editor of three books associated with Fenway Park’s 100th anniversary: “Fenway Park: 100 Years,” the park’s official coffee table book; “Wally the Green Monster’s Journey Through Time,” an animated children’s book; and “Fenway Park: It Never Gets Old,” the park’s official tour book.

Dan will be bringing along a handful of the Red Sox coffee table books, which retailed at $75 for the 100th anniversary, but he has offered to give us a special discount ("about $50 or so"), He is also bringing along copies of "Wally the Green Monster Kids Books" as well as the Fenway Park tour book, which retail at $15 each.
