-Are you curious about getting started in genealogy but feel it will be an expensive and difficult hobby to pursue?
-Have you hit a brick wall in your research and need some new ideas?

If you answered “yes” to any of the above questions, then you’ll want to attend Genealogy Discovery Day 2013, a free event to be held at the Chelmsford Public Library on Saturday, October 26th.

Genealogy Discovery Day is a free public program hosted by the Chelmsford Genealogy Club with generous support of the Friends of the Library. Club members will be on hand to offer their help and expertise regarding genealogy research as well as introduce the many free websites and other research tools.

This is the third annual offering of Genealogy Discovery Day which will feature displays, refreshments and handouts. Free 20 minute personal consults will be offered to help participants solve some of their family tree mysteries.

To prepare for your 20 minute consult you can fill this form out ahead of time and bring on Saturday.

Bring what you know and learn how to make your family tree grow!
