A Walking Tour of Lowell

We are encouraging people to take a tour of Lowell to learn more about mill cities on Saturday, May 12, 2007 at 2:30, but you must call the National Park Service to register to go on the tour. (Tours are limited to 32 people). The number to call to register for the tour is 978-970-5000 (press 2). Once you've registered plan to meet at the Visitor Center, 246 Market Street. Limited free parking is available just behind the Visitior Center (entrance on Dutton Street). Additional paid parking is available throughout the downtown area in city garages.

The Lowell National Historical Park conducts daily walking tours so if you can't join Saturday's tour you can catch one another day. You can get all the details on the Park's website at www.nps.gov/lowe or by calling the 978-970-5000.
