World Wide Wednesdays@Chelmsford presents: Volo Volo de
Boston
"Volo Volo de Boston"
brings the music of Haiti to the Boston area. "Volo Volo" was
founded in 1971 in Boston. Volo Volo has several albums. They have performed
for the 4th of July celebration at the Decordova Museum and for Bastille
Day at the French Library in Boston they have also performed in Cambridge
for the Caribbean Festival where they won the trophy for First Brass Band
in the parade for two consecutive years. They have also performed overseas
in Paris as well as in Martinique and Haiti. In this country they have
played in Los Angeles, Chicago, New York and in Florida. This program is free and open to the public. For more information, call 978-256-5521, ext 214. |
