World Wide Wednesdays @ Chelmsford - 2009 Series

Catch "World Wide Wednesdays @ Chelmsford," at the MacKay Library in North Chelmsford (directions). Concerts run from 6:30-8 p.m. on Wednesdays from July 8th through August 12th. Grab a blanket or lawn chair, pack a lunch and don't forget your dancing shoes! In case of rain or threat of rain the concerts will be held at the Chelmsford Senior Center, 75 Groton Road, North Chelmsford, Call the MacKay Library at 978-256-5521 x6 if any questions.

July 8, 2009 - Chicago Push -Lenny Gomulka's lively polka music kicks off the 2009 WWW series. This concert will be held at the Senior Center.

July 15, 2009 - InkasWasi - In colorful Peruvian attire Inkaswasi perform instrumentals, songs and dance of their native Peru

July 22, 2009 - Balla Tounkara - a native of Mali, West Africa, and a virtuoso on the Kora

July 29, 2009 - Odaiko New England (ONE)-in the tradition of Taiko Drumming Odaiko harnesses the transformative power of the Japanese drum.

August 5, 2009 - The Bullock Brothers -traditional gospel standards like "Swing Low, Sweet Chariot" (at Senior Center tonight)

August 12, 2009 - Grupo Fantasia-Merengue, Salsa, Reggae, Mariachi, Cuban and Latin jazz and more!
