National Library Snapshot Day in Chelmsford!

On Wednesday, April 13, the Chelmsford Library will joined libraries across the Commonwealth and the nation to provide a “snapshot” of what happens in a day in the life of libraries. How many books are checked out? How many people receive help finding a job? Doing their taxes? Doing their homework? During Snapshot Day, libraries collected data and photos that help demonstrate the value of libraries - and that libraries are busier than ever!

Share Your Library Experience!

Everyone is encouraged to participate: when you come to the library that day, bring your camera and take pictures! Afterward, come to the Reference Desk to download your shots, or email pictures to and we'll share them on the Library's flickr account, along with photos taken by Library staff. We'll also be posting different statistics, and anything else we can collect to capture life in the library.
