Special Spring Book Sale, Apr 20-21
We’ve gotten so many book donations lately that the Friends are holding a Special Spring Book Sale, April 20-21!
The sale will feature Fiction, Children’s Books, and Teen Books (sorry, no non-fiction, movies, or music this time – see us in September for those!). The sale will take place at the Town offices Gym, 50 Billerica Road, Chelmsford.
Friday, April 20: 9am-7pm
Saturday, April 21: 9am-5pm

If you’re willing to help out with a shift at the sale, please sign up to help! This will mainly be restocking books onto tables during the sale, but the very first shift and last shift will also help with setup and cleaning up. This Volunteer Fair is an opportunity for non-profit organizations, community groups, and town departments to connect with potential volunteers and new members, network with each other, and to showcase their organizations.

A new discussion series at the library will highlight how various current science and technology trends apply in our daily lives. The talks will be every fourth Monday at 7pm – check our events calendar for a complete list of topics.
Annual Book Sale: Sept. 15-17!
The Friends 2017 Book Sale takes place at the town offices gym at the following times:
Friday, Sept. 15: 9:00 AM – 9:00 PM
Saturday, Sept. 16: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM
Sunday, Sept. 17: 9:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Marjorie Scoboria Greenway Grand Opening: Sep 9th, 1pm
Please join us for the official grand opening of the Marjorie Scoboria Greenway, to recognize all of the donors and other contributors who made this wonderful park possible.
Learn about the various trees, plants, benches, artwork, weathervane, and all the other features the new Greenway has to offer. Light refreshments will be served. We hope that you can save the date and join us on the Greenway for the celebration.
In the meantime, we invite you to come and take a stroll through the Marjorie Scoboria Greenway at any time, and read more about the Greenway and Carriage House!
Summer Concert Series at MacKay
Wednesdays at 6:30pm! Join the fun in North Chelmsford with MacKay’s outdoor summer music series. Adult concerts are Wednesday nights July 5th, 12th, and 19th, and children’s performers are August 2nd, 9th, and 16th. We’ll move indoors for bad weather, so check the website each week!
