Why do we celebrate LGBTQIA Pride Month?  To remind us that the past can inform the present and vice versa.  Once again current history has parallels to events of our past.  As we continue to bear witness to the racial turmoil in our country; determine ways to support our black citizens, friends, and/or family members; we can learn from past tumultuous historical events like the Stonewall Riots (also known as the Stonewall Uprisings).  For more on LGBTQIA+ culture, history, art, etc. consider placing a hold on any of the following books, and then using our curbside pickup service to take them home to enjoy!
