Just a reminder that Library Sunday Hours are again coming to a close. The last Sunday the library will be open is May 20th, 2007.

We’ve been open 1-5pm on Sundays since October 15th, 2006. Funding for Sunday Hours has come from State Aid, which makes up a part of the Library’s budget each fiscal year.

In fiscal year 2008 (July 2007 – June 2008), State Aid will be used to cover the Library’s computer budget, instead of Sunday Hours. This is due to the Library receiving less money from the Town, and means that there will be no Sunday Hours this fall. Sunday Hours may resume in January, but that decision won’t be made by the Library’s Board of Trustees until the beginning of December.
