In order to do any work in the Children’s Dept, you MUST come to a MANDATORY training session even if you’ve volunteered for us before.
-
We’ll be holding training sessions in September, January and June. You only have to do it once, but you CANNOT volunteer for a program with children unless you do so. We will be going over administrative procedures, introducing you to staff, going over new policies and talking a bit about how to work with children (and grown ups).
-
Story Teens are volunteers who learn to do PJ story time! Story Teens have separate trainings. This training counts as a mandatory training session.
