*Mandatory Volunteer Training*
We’re instituting a new policy for ALL volunteers. In order to do any work in the Children’s Dept, you MUST come to a training session even if you’ve volunteered for us before.
We’ll be holding training sessions in September, January and June. You only have to do it once, but you CANNOT volunteer for a program with children unless you do so. (Story Teens have their own separate training, so you’ll do that instead.) We will be going over administrative procedures, introducing you to staff, going over new policies and talking a bit about how to work with children (and grown ups).
The next training sessions will be on
Wednesday June 20, 4-5pm
OR
Saturday June 30, 2-3pm
Registration will begin on May 1.

Painters wanted!
I need a few creative volunteers to help paint some picture frames for the children’s room. I have all the materials!
Saturday May 5, 1-3pm (you can come for some or all of the time, just let me know)

Lego Club
Do you love Legos?? Do you want to work with kids?
We’re starting a Lego Club here at the library and need some enthusiastic teens to help sort Legos, set up and break down displays and for general crowd control.
Lego club will be on the 1st Saturday 2nd Thursday of each month.

Dads & Donuts
We are in need of a few teens to help out with Dads & Donuts! It runs the 2nd Saturday of each month from
10am – noon.
You’d be helping to pour juice, put out donuts and general crowd control.
