Children's Room Mural

Patrons visiting the Children’s Room will notice…..

Artist Yetti Frenkel has been commissioned to paint a mural in memory of Steve Maloney. Steve was a Library Trustee who died suddenly in January 2006 leaving his wife Cynthia and two young children. Steve grew up in Chelmsford and was a great library supporter.

Cynthia, her family, and Steve's family commissioned a mural for the children's room in the Chelmsford Public Library.

Thank you so much to the Maloney family and all who donated the funds to make this mural possible. We will remember Steve, his love for nature, his interest in weather and outdoor activities, and his deep commitment to this community.
