Weekly Storytimes

Beginning January 2022

Outdoor Explorers (ages 2-5)

Mondays at 10:00 AM

Dress for the weather and come outside for an exploration of stories and nature for ages 2-5. Each week we will choose a nature-focused theme and share a book and activities based on that theme. This program will take place outdoors, rain or shine, as long as the wind chill is above ten degrees fahrenheit.

Little Artists on Zoom (ages 3-5)

Tuesdays at 10:00 AM

Join us on Zoom to learn and create with your little one! Each week, we will read a story that relates to an artist, learn about their style, and then you will create an art piece together. Finally, show off your work (or work in progress) at the end of each session! Kits with materials will be provided and will be available for pick-up beginning one week before each event. Registration is required and opens 2 weeks before the event.

Virtual PJ Storytime (all ages)

Tuesdays at 7 PM on Zoom and Facebook Live

Put on your PJs, grab your dinner or a bedtime snack, and join us for a fun evening of stories, songs, and rhymes that will get you in the mood for bedtime!
Please note: to join on Zoom, you will need to have your camera on for the entire storytime.
Outdoor Singalong (all ages)

Wednesdays at 10:00 AM

Please join us on the Scoboria Greenway for a morning of movement and song for the whole family! Enjoy favorite tunes and discover new songs you will love in English and a variety of world languages. The Scoboria Greenway is located next to the library parking lot.

Please note: In case of inclement weather or temperatures below 25 °F, we will not meet for Sing Along. The event calendar will be updated if Sing Along is not meeting.

Playspace at Home (ages 2-3 years)

Thursdays at 10:00 AM

Join this virtual PlaySpace program to enjoy a story and then bring it to life with activities, crafts, and play! Registration is required and will open two weeks before the event.  You must register for each week you wish to attend!  Please register each child who will need a kit.

Kits with the week’s activities will be available one week before our Zoom meeting.  Each bag will contain items for 2 weeks of PlaySpace; we will use the same story 2 weeks in a row.  Some activities will repeat, others will be different.  Pick up inside at the Children’s Desk or via curbside pickup.

The Zoom link for the meeting will be emailed to those registered about an hour before the event.

Virtual Baby Storytime on Zoom (ages 0 – walking)

We will send you the link to the Zoom meeting space before 10:00 AM on the morning of the program at the email address that you provide.
