The Friends of the Library always need volunteers to help run the books sale.
Volunteers are needed for a variety of tasks:
- sort books during the year
- set up for the sale the night before
- restock tables during the sale
- work the cashier table during the sale
- clean up afterward
It takes a lot of helping hands to run a book sale this successful, and the more the merrier! The Friends book sale routinely raises $20,000+ to benefit the library, primarily funding museum passes, programming, and special projects.
