I read this book to remind parents that it is the book on our StoryWalk at Sunny Meadow Community Garden this summer.  It has big colorful illustrations for a storytime, but it works best one-on-one, so you can discuss the vegetables with your child.
Sheep Take a Hike was our first StoryWalk.  We try to change the books 3 times a year.
