Spring has arrived and so has a new story at the Sunny Meadow Farm Story Walk. The story The Thank You Letter by Jane Cabrera is a sweet story about a little girl who writes many thank you letters. As the inside book jacket describes “Grace writes thoughtful Thank You letters for her birthday gifts. She thanks her grandparents for Bob, a toy puppy. She sends a note to her cousins to say thank you for sparkly shoes and to Taye for the magic wings. But that is only the beginning. The sweet and lively story reminds that gratitude can be contagious.”

Read the story one page at a time as you walk along a simple trail. Wear your rainboots if it has recently rained! This is a fun family literacy activity that is great for all ages. Be sure to sign the guest book, and stop by the Children’s Desk to tell us all about your Story Walk experience. Also, come into the Children’s Room to write your own thank you letters. We have paper, pens and envelopes for you to use!

The Story Walk is located along a trail around the Community Garden located at Sunny Meadow Farm. It is near 158 Robin Hill Road in South Chelmsford.
