Due to the COVID-19 situation, the Library is closed for the purpose of obtaining a library card and accessing our print and media collections. Our electronic resources are still available to anyone with a Chelmsford Library card.
This is limited to residents or employees of the Town of Chelmsford who DO NOT already have a Chelmsford Library card. We are temporarily waiving the in-person requirement to show ID and proof of residency to get a temporary card, which will expire on June 30, 2020. You may come in anytime after we re-open to make it a permanent library card.
If you already have a card but can’t remember your PIN (or have other questions about your account), please contact us by phone, email, or chat.
To get a new Library card, you can:
- Call us at 978-256-5521 x0
- Fill out the form below
Also, all Massachusetts residents can access the online resources from the Boston Public Library – sign up for a BPL Ecard.
