Wi-Fi & Computer Access

Wi-Fi

Wireless access to the internet is available at both the Main Library and the MacKay Branch at no charge, 24 hours a day. The name of our network is Library Guest, and there is no password.

The best reception will be from inside the buildings, but it should also be available from the parking lots near the buildings too.

Please note that while this is a secure network, it is open to the public and the library cannot be responsible for damage to your hardware or data.

Computer Access

Please note: During COVID-19, computer access has been modified from normal access:

  • Public computers with internet access and Microsoft Office programs are available on the Lower Level of the Main Library only (not in the Children’s Room or at the MacKay Branch). To use a computer, please go to the Reference Desk
  • Laptops are available to check out and take home (or to the parking lot) from the Reference Desk on the Lower Level of the Main Library. Patrons must provide a photo ID as collateral until the laptop is returned
  • A low-vision computer, with ZoomText software and a low-mobility keyboard, is available in the Large Print Room of the Main Library. Please visit our ADA Accessibility page for more information
